The game types and play mechanics in Arcade Edition are otherwise identical to Super Street Fighter IV. Great balance and overall improvement to the metagame.I have been followning this franchise since my early days with video games. Great traditional Street Fighter addition with comfortable twists.SSF IV Arcade Edition is a great fighting game. An awesome addition to the Street Fighter Series. I love fighting games and have always been a street fighter fan. This game is different enough so it feels fresh and maintains the traditional Street Fighter style gameplay I've come to love over the years. The only downside is it's slow compared to the SNES Street Fighter games.
It's not too much of a bother, it's still slightly annoying. It's like a more disciplined Marvel Vs. You can still button mash and get lucky, but this game does require the gamer to have more skill and good timing. I wanted it, I bought, and it met my expectations. Buy it now or regret it forever.
Excellent Street Fighter, Classic combines with Next Gen.Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition is just simply EVERYTHING wrapped into a game and more. The roster is AMAZING having all classic characters from passed street fighter games as well as new ones, including Oni, who is just a Super AKUMA! Just hearing that should make you want to by this game right now. Game is alot of fun, nice incoorperation of the 3D character modules in a 2D fighting setting. Just a perfect game, definitely a great pick up, if ytou have street fighter 4 or super street fighter 4 just simply by the download contect on xbox marketplace or playstation store.
The new complete Street Fighter experience plus more.Great game. I wish they still sold more copies at the local video game shop. The complete street fighter four experience.
3rd generation of the VI, arcade edition is definitely the one to have. Everything is up to date and one can toggle between regular outdated SSF VI or AE. So in that sense its backwards compatible. Has all characters unlocked as well as 4 extra characters with all 10 costumes unlocked. I repeat, this is the street fighter IV version you want if you haven't yet bought the game.
